great variety in goa 2011-07-18
great place for supplies and many odd ones that they keep, but be sure to check expiry dates for imported stuff, they do have a lot of old stock. -

Overly high prices 2011-04-22
Yeah, is is probably one of the larger "supermarkets" in Goa, however its prices are grossly inflated. Do NOT buy any CDs here. We bought one and 20 mins into its playing time it was unable to play anymore! I do not know where they buy these CDs from but they are certainly of extremely poor quality and a waste of your hard earned money. -

paradise for supplies 2011-04-01
Since we had rented a flat in Goa we had to stock up on all the supplies. Newton's was a paradise for grocery shoppers...they have everything you need. fresh vegetables, fruits, ready to eats, even booze. It was a reminder of the Hypercity and D Marts back home -
